This arrived very quickly and is as described. It requires a 5 mm gap, an 18 mm open jaw spanner to hold it and 17 mm spanner /socket to operate the screw. I have not used it yet, but it should be capable of cracking the joint and relieving some of the clamp force.

Delivery was very late item arrived ok but box was damaged looks like was not in good packaging I contact seller for delay of delivery and for me the answer was rude. I haven’t tested the product yet but it looks like ok.
I think in this price can get batter product on eBay instead of this one.

The shower works well. For build, it is inexpensive and materials are lightweight although not flimsy. It arrived without instructions or the advertised 10-year warranty. Upon requesting the latter, I was told to “ just use it first and see if it works well”. For the price, I accepted this, as there was no time left, but it is not an honestly described product. Also, it arrived with a scratch on the hand shower receiver.
