Some age-related rubbing & light surface scratches. Gold shield shape cartouche in the centre has faint letters on it (may be "P. H." & "C.C." underneath but it is indistinct). Silver is fully hallmarked on rear of fob medal: makers mark "W.J.D" for William James Dingley, Warstone Lane, Birmingham. The lion passant for fine silver. The anchor for Birmingham Assay Office. The letter "n" (fancy script stylised) showing the date year is 1887. Loop at the top edge. Still has original ring for attaching to a chain. Measures approx 3.5cm long, 2.7cm wide max. Please check the photos carefully as they are of the antique fine silver & gold pocekt watch fob medal hallmarked William James Dingley, Birmingham 1887, you are buying, as shown.
