Works well on hard floors and fitted carpets the problems start when trying to vac rugs and mats, we have 4 5ft x 3ft dirt trapper mats which are really heavy, this vac will not go over them with the brush turned off and with the brush on the mats get picked up and stop the brush at this point the whole brush head becomes detached from the vac body, have tried all settings on vac but will not work, stick to Miele ,never had a problem with them
