    Excellent pair of Secateurs

    I like the adjustable handles for hands of different sizes. I set them to small for my wife but although you can alter the size it's not something you can do easily every time you use them. i.e. set it to whatever size you want (generally for the smallest handed user) and stick with that. Time will tell as to how the "gears" will hold up in the garden but initial impressions are good. As new the blades are sharp. Again we'll see how these stand up to use in the garden. The locking mechanism is nice and easy.

    Not nice to use

    I bought this as I have other Fiscar tools and do like them. However, I can’t get on with these. They do cut beautifully but the “powergear” means the lower handle is rotating in your grip, not nice. Also, I like to strip, clean and lube my tools. The powergear mechanism makes strip and reassemble a real pain. Overall, I’ll buy a standard mechanism next time and I don’t think it’ll be long coming!

    Great secateurs

    Brilliant bit of kit! (also comes in a larger size) Cog system helps give more power to the cut which makes a real difference and lower handle swivels with the movement of your hand to reduce blistering. Best I've ever used. Either cut thicker than before or same as before with less effort. Great if you have problems or weakness in your grip.

    Brilliant!

    I bought these for my mum for her birthday and she hasn’t stopped raving about them. She says they are really powerful and great for her weak wrists. I’m not altogether sure she has much garden left, as the temptation to keep using them is too great! I am thinking of getting a pair for me too.
