    Mylar bags

    These mylar bags may cost more than average comic bags but they are so worth the extra money!! Not only do they protect the comics better, but they also make the comics look better!! I don't use mylar for all of my comics. I only use mylar for the books I really want to protect!! Once you try these bags, you will love them and make sure you always have some on hand. Also, make sure to purchase halfback backing boards or full backs.. As long as they are acid free you are golden and comics will be protected for years to come!! Highly recommended!!

    The 2 mil's are far superior.

    The 4 mil bags work, but they weren't exactly what I was looking for. A while back Ultra Pro put out some bags with a bendable flap that was so good you didn't even need back boards. Therefore these are not exactly what I was looking for. The pro's are that they will protect your books, from heat , moisture, etc... The cons are that they are a bit more cumbersome than the 2 mil, and they can crack easy. My advice is if you go mylar get the 2 mil.
