The short 12mm hex fits the supplied 10mm sockets, the long 12mm hex requires an extra 12mm socket. Why? The hex bit ends appear sliughtly ridged - milled too fast maybe. The 12M spline bits are a different (and better) finish - very strange. Given the price though I am happy enough.Follow-up from: b***b- Feedback followed up on by buyer.- Feedback followed up on by buyer.12mm Hex bit should have been made to fit 10mm socket - as shown in the pictures, and all Hex bits ends should be smooth, not ridged as received. Could have been better I think.

I replied that cream/ beige was fine as it was what I had wanted. They arrived promptly, but where in fact grey ! Disappointing ,but in fairness does not affect purpose. Not as sturdy as others on the market, but quality price appropriate.
