An OK tablet, just about worth the price ... barely
It's an OK tablet, reasonable size/weight, but it's higher aspect ratio than the older Galaxy Tab 8.0, so it's longer and narrower, and that makes it harder to hold for long periods. It's also slow ... takes seconds to switch between apps and to update the screen when you move between apps. They've cut some corners in choosing the CPUs for the Tab A range. They claim to have 4x2GHz CPUs in there - at least three must be asleep all the time. Battery life is good, phone works fine, sound is good. The 2.0MP front camera is impressively awful, pics in selfie mode look like 10-year old Polaroids, washed out, grainy ... yuck ! They must have had to look hard to find such cheap CCDs, looks more like 0.2MP to me. It's not just the individual unit either - I have a Tab A 9.7 as well, and it's ... Maybe it's just a blip but TBH I'd avoid them, wait to see if Samsung get back to producing great tablets or if they keep following the cheap and nasty path.

Nice Tablet and great performer!
Really pleased with the performance and stunned at the picture quality - really great for communicating with our grandchildren with Skype during this difficult time - Android takes a bit of getting used to after W10 on a PC - but fine for the application we have. Its fast and 32GB is OK - good that it can be extended with SD to massive 512 - great for pics and stuff!
