    A good Patterson/Karp intrigue and action novel

    I read most of Patterson's mystery books, including the Red Alert series. This one is good, although I think the last few of this series haven't been quite up to the action of earlier ones. However, I would still recommend this, as I do any of his mystery series. You can't go wrong with one of his novels, and the writers with him such as Karp. Of course, my favorites are still the Cross series books and the Murder Club series books. These along with Michael Bennett series are just a great overall reading.

    Unlike the women's murder club books, you will not get diabetes from reading these books. They are not sickingly sweet. Fast reading, basically a good story line. Writer get right to the heart of the matter and keeps the readers attention.
