      Good but not convenient.

      Good - its made by a recognised manufacturer and if you are disassembling your engine anyway it will probably work very well. If your car/van has a really blocked egr valve and you have to take it off anyway it very well may save you a lot of scrubbing. Bad - if you are wanting to service the intake system as preventative maintenance its not very convenient as the parts should be removed from the vehicle to carry this out, whereupon it becomes a very part specific cleaner. There are cleaners that just require the air inlet hose disconnecting from the engine side of the filter, with the warm engine running it is steadily sprayed in until the canister is empty and it cleans everything through to the egr valve.

      Quality product feedback..

      500ml x2 holt carb/egr cleaner purchased for battling the throttle body on my 4x4, the cleaner had enough ummmph within the pressure and chemical product to nearly clean the caked on oil n grime with wiping the component. Could not manage to release the egr from vehicle due to access but sure it’d blitz the task..

      EGR valve cleaner

      Saved a fortune by removing the EGR valve and using the cleaner & toothbrushes to clean the interior of the valve.Refitted and engine has returned to normal performance.great result
