    The weather station is compact and attractive

    The weather station is compact and attractive. It shows the information I want and little that I don't. The instructions are pretty clear, although I didn't realize at first that the batteries are only for holding the memory when the power goes out. The screen doesn't illuminate unless the power adapter is attached. This isn't a problem for me. I only wish that fact had been more clear in the instructions. For the performance and price, the item would be hard to beat.

    Outdoor Sensor needs to be very close to the indoor display

    needed to have the sensor very close to the unit. Limiting where the unit and sensor could be located in our house.

    Great and accurate outdoor temperature station

    All components are working well, and the remote sensor measures the temperature within 1 deg of the receiving unit when placed side-by-side. I also like the bright, large, and colorful display on the receiving stations. They are much easier to read than the older grey LCD displays. One issue I noticed is the viewing angles of the display is somewhat narrow, so you must look almost straight on or else the numbers would all appear like the number "8" and be unreadable (see attached pictures).

    Love it but correct placement is necessary

    Love the back lit color display. It replaced 5 monochrome LCD devices. Placement of the outdoor device was tricky to find a good RF path to both displays. It is necessary to find a location out of direct weather because the outside device is not weather proof. Exposure to RF fields can interfere with the display's reception. If exposed to RF fields the outdoor readings will be dashes. The display will return in a few minutes when the RF interference is gone.

    It is what I wanted

    It has a large display, which makes it easy to read. You only have one outside transmitter so you can locate the monitors where you need them and not have to keep up with two transmitters. The monitors work off the plug in and not off the batteries. So you do not have to worry about changing batteries but once a year.
