Waxed the upper and used rubber boot restore on the rand and outsoles. Although these boot looked new they had been worn. Probably for a very short time. They are now however practically brand new. The outsoles have no wear whatsoever so my guess would be used on grass for a very short time for a training exercise. Seller was responsive to my questions. Make sure you go up half a size.

Vendor included good quality insoles. First proper test tomorrow (in foul expected weather) but a quick round trip to village shop & pub suggests the sizing is true - my 11s are a good fit. AKU brand was unknown to me, likewise the vendor, I'll keep both bookmarked. Good score.
