    I purchased two of these items. It won’t let me leave a negative feedback for you, but this is negative even though it’s in a positive category he literally charged me for two trainer boxes and only sends me one in the mail so I get completely ripped off, and I have to immediately file for a refund. I don’t suggest the seller whatsoever at all to be honest I reached out to them and I hope they understand too. They need to pay attention to their orders more cause I really messed up my wallet.

    Metal vs. Plastic fasteners.

    This metal hidden fasteners are perfect for installing composite decking regardless of the brand of decking boards. I have also used the plastic fasteners but prefer the metal ones. Over an extended period I have noticed the plastic ones began to loosen and the deck boards have shifted. This is my own preference. The future looks like more companies are going with the plastic ones. This is why I ordered these fasteners on line.

    Screws made of soft metal will strip quickly

    The screws are made of a very soft metal, they strip almost instantly. This is a knockoff of the Phantom GT Hidden Fastener made by fiberon. Everything looks the same, except the screws are much worse. The metal is very soft and will strip out right away. I installed 5 boxes on the fiberon and ran out before finishing the deck. Then I bought these because I was in a pinch, needed them quick and they were cheaper. Should have spent the extra money on the real thing.

    Great fasteners

    This is a great way to fasten veranda composite decking. Don't use impact driver because this will strip out head. Use cordless drill set on about 7-9.

    Difficult to install

    Very difficult to install. I gave up and fave screwed the boards. Might be the boards not the fasteners but was really hard to use.
