Authentic Versailles period mystery series
I enjoy a good detective mystery (Agatha Christie, Midsomer, Morse & Endeavor, NCIS). This series is good because the setting and costumes appear to be authentic to the period. There are no computers or automation or rapid transportation or communication. The cases have to be worked out using logic and identifying liars and fibbers while maneuvering through Louis XV palace intrigue all without the benefit of good autopsy. I don't even mind that dialogue is in French with English sub-titles. (My bad for not studying French language.) Looking forward to buying season 2 and 3.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
