Best acoustic strings I've used! Piano-like tone, and .012-.054 for Lead work!

I was skeptical because these are coated strings, and I've not enjoyed them previously. I bought 3 sets to try them, and now, there are only 2 types of strings I buy for 6-string acoustics. For guitars I tend to play lead, single-string or double-stop things, I use these (Light.012-.054 gauges). For guitars I play mostly rhythm, I use the Mediums, one step heavier. Piano-like tone from a Martin on the bass end, and crystal-clear highs. Same on a Larrivee or a Guild. And the best thing is they last forever, compared to un-coated strings, and why they cost a bit more. Worth every penny!

    • I only own martin guitars, always have(45) years & tehse are the best strings for my style of playing.

I have a couple Gibsons over the years & these strings even made a gibson sound good. If you havent tried them yet, give them a shot. I also have a couple Recording King axes & they are perfect for them. Try um. John C.
