    excellent performance

    Good speed work prior to this was a i5. Asked a lot of questions on the forums, is it worth it to change to i7? Will definitely worth it! The difference in fps games is significant! Of course if you have a good graphics card.

    Tough, fast, processor.

    Upgraded a Acer V3-731 laptop which came with a Celeron B960. Way better processor and it's tough to boot. Bonus is also got a boost in video card performance as well. Pretty easy upgrade if you know how to take apart laptops.

    Jumped my HP 4540s laptop from an i3 that was always in 100% load to this I7 that with Lineage opened doesnt go over 25% load, huge difference. Advice before buying, check that your motherboard has a socket connector where you can simply click this in. If your motherboard has a cpu soldered in, operation to undolder and resolder this is more complex with heatgun, flux etc

    Excellent processor

    Ordered this to upgrade a laptop. Performance is outstanding, it is rock-solid stable but it is a pain to replace the processor in a laptop. Most laptops require near complete disassembly to get to the processor. Other than that, this is an outstanding upgrade for slower Ivy Bridge processors.
