        Great product!

        Put this on my 2007 Silverado Classic 2500, very well made, simple installation, stupid stock Chevy differential cover has no drain plug?!!?! This was a fantastic upgrade, the dipstick with floating magnet is a great idea and the overall construction is well executed, I chose this brand over the others because it came with the most features in the smallest footprint.

        Defeats the purpose

        I've used one for quite a while. And it's not really worth changing out unless you're just going for looks. The added fluid doesn't help much and ends up inside of the axle tubes anyways where it's not necessary. Banks Power is coming out with the proper cover soon. See the channel on YouTube.

        Fit and fninsh

        Excellent quality product. The excess volume capacity should allow for additional dispersion of heat thus extending the life of the lubricating fluid. The additional margin of safety makes me feel more confident when pulling heavy loads during the summer heat which reaches 110 F here in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. Installing the Mag-Hytec Differential Cover was easy. The most difficult aspect was preparing the differential housing. You must take care to remove all existing gasket material and clean the surface thoroughly before installing the Mag-Hytec Differential Cover.
