    Brilliant movie by a genius selling at a very reasonable price

    This DVD The Great Dictator is offered at a much lower price than anyone else. In my opinion it is the very finest work of a man who was widely considered to be a genius, Charlie Chaplin. It is both hysterically funny and very informative at the same time. After the end of WWII Charlie Chaplin was asked whether he would have made this picture (in 1941) if he had known the extent of the holocaust going on in Europe and he answered that he would not have made this movie. I for one am glad he did and there were about 12 members of my family who died in the concentration camps. With regard to his genius its worth noting that in addition to his acting he wrote the screenplay, directed and produced the movie and he wrote all the music. He is seen playing the piano in the movie.

    Terrific movie

    The movie was made in 1940,when Hilter was in power.It was funny,he captured Hilters idiosyncrasy to a T. chaplins portrayel of the dictator is awesome to say the least.Especialy the last scene of the movie I enjoyed the speech because the words ring true today.
