    Good product.

    A handy little device to check the spark of each individual plug. It does have to be used in a fairly dark location for the spark to be clearly visible. I would agree with another reviewer that one should be made useable for deeply recessed plugs.

    Faulty bulb - obviously no quality control at the factory.

    Faulty bulb does not work. I even bought one more and that had a duff bulb in it as well. This item is not fit for purpose. (I tested the bulb in both with my meter) I ended up buying a totally different one made by another manufacturer and that worked fine.

    Very useful

    I was worried that the electronic ignition unit on my classic British bike wasn't working effectively. With the In-line Ignition Tester, I could clearly see the strong pulses supplied to the plugs. Excellent.

    Worked as expected

    Used on several pull start 2-stroke engines to test spark and works ok. Bulb is a little dull but so is the light in my shed and it is easier than trying to hold the plug against the body and pull the pull start cord at the same time!

    Did I need this spark tester?

    Quality tester, only used it for about 30 seconds to check if I needed a new ignition coil and lead, in short I dont , money well spent considering a new ignition coil and lead would have set me back four times the price of this, even if I never need to use it again. Easy to use, no instructions needed, it had a bright spark that was easy to see, I even felt the spark as I naively held the metal end that goes into the lead, all in all a useful little tool to keep in the garage for future uses.
