I bought this as the microwave bead ones just weren’t up to the job - they either weren’t hot enough or way too hot, then cooled too quickly. This is relaxing steam bath for the eyes (I have blepharitis). Two steam settings and a heat setting… not too hot either. Switches off after ten minutes. Battery lasts about a week before it needs recharging, if using every day. Just make sure you have a towel handy as the condensation does escape and runs down your face.
