    A perfect alternative

    I have a camera that takes banned mercury batteries so I bought an adapter to take a smaller modern equivalent unfortunately this did not work I saw this battery on YouTube as an alternative it is the same size and voltage as the old mercury battery I bought the battery from the supplier and it was a perfect fit and and the light meter on my camera works perfectly I contacted the supplier and he informed me about the best way to get the best results from this battery I would recommend this product and vendor

    A great find.

    I am so glad to have found this item as I have a number of cameras from the 1970s to the 1980s which required a mercury battery ( now universally banned) to work the meter/shutter . This battery delivers the same 1.35 volts that the mercury battery did . So ! I can once again use my beloved older film cameras. Fantastic.

    Excellent value 1.35v Mercury cell alternative for classic SLRs

    An excellent product for users of classic SLR cameras such as Olympus OM1, Minolta SRT, Pentax Spotmatic, Canon FTn etc that used to require a 1.35v Mercury battery that are no longer available. The Weincell is a murcury free replacement and produces the same 1.35v.

    Correct replacement battery for Zeiss Contaflex BC or S cameras.

    Despite it's odd shape the battery fits my old Zeiss camera perfectly and works fine.
