Once again, players can select from a number of characters skilled in various combat styles, from Ryu Hayabusa's custom Ninjutsu techniques learned from his years as a ninja, to teenager Hitomi's mastery of karate. No matter which character is selected, he or she can perform a number of quick-strike attacks, guards, holds, combos, and throws to keep foes off balance. The environments in Dead or Alive 4 play as important a role in the fighting as the characters themselves, with players able to use scenery objects, such as trees, to pin opponents, or in some cases, smash through barriers to continue battling in completely new areas.

    Great game, great memories

    Loved DOA since part 2 and hate what it’s devolved into. This is the LAST great DOA!! It was different and difficult from other fighting games and it was the greatest. If you haven’t played this or DOA 1-3 I highly recommend you do; DOA 5 and 6 are DOA in name only.

    Good copy of game and guide book.

    Owned this game before. Regretted trading it in. It was nice to find a good copy of the game at EBAY that also included the guide book. Was unable to find it at the local game stores.

    The forgotten DOA due to being 360 exclusive. Its Worth picking up.

    Another fantastic addition with more features added to the DOA franchise. If you have a 360 this is worth picking up, even if just for the exclusive Microsoft Halo stuff. This is the one where you get to play a Spartan. But if you love DOA 2,3, and 5 you should try this one out as well.
