Jack at Flagheadphoto is great to do business with. I trusted him for a $3000 camera lens. The communication prior to and during the transaction was as if I was speaking to him in person at his shop. The Zeiss Otus lens was packaged securely and arrived exactly as described. For an used Zeiss Otus lens the value was the reason I purchased it. Shipping was surprisingly fast. I can not say enough good things about this transaction other than this is a trusted seller on EBay. A+++

  • Good but flawed, and in need of an update.

This lens is in many ways better than the 3 star rating I've given it. It's a great focal length for close up ( note not macro ) and also portrait photography. It is strangely designed in so far as the front elements protrude someway out when close focussing, and has a small 39mm lens filter size which coupled with the aforementioned design makes it more difficult to attach and use polarising and other rotary type filters. However the lens is well built and relatively light if the large standard metal lens hood is not used. My main gripe is that the lens is of the older type and is noisy and relatively slow to acquire focus. Also the lens is not weather sealed. Now that I've purchased an F2.8 Tele zoom, this lens is surplus and will shortly be sold. Sad, as I'm sure I'll at sometime in the ...

  • Great macro lens but expensive

My first foray into Fujinon macro but disappointed. Slow to focus and no stabiliser. but made a better portrait lens A bit pricey. The 80mm however although expensive is fantastic.

  • Well corrected lens but no macro.

Very good 60mm lens for the Fuji x-mount. Well corrected for distortion and chromatic aberrations. The lens gives a very nice 3D characteristic to your photographs and as such renders beautifully, better than the so-called Fujicrons. Downsides are the ridiculous lens hood which I leave at home and the fact that it is simply not a macro lens - it does not do 1:1 focus. Don't expect to use this without an extension tube for true macro shots. It is also worth noting that it is painfully slow to focus on older bodies such as the X-Pro1. It is much faster on the X-Pro2.

  • Great sharp lens

A small light well made easy to use macro lens. It only produces half life size images but they are so sharp that it's not important. One of the best lenses I have owned.

  • Super Sharp Lens

One of the older generation of Fujinon lenses. Quality glass, super sharp. Not the fastest autofocus but not bad on my XT-3. Produces beautiful images with a certain look that is hard to describe. Excellent for portraits but so crisp it will show every blemish on the skin. Good macro and dreamy bokeh. A great lens.
