I lost my Tilley hat last week and bought this with low expectations but it seems really well made, the fittings are brass, not plated steel, it's nicely lined which the Tilleys aren't and the sizing is generous which the Tilley's wasn't. I'm going to stick my kneck out and suggest this is a better hat than the Tilley at a quarter of the price. Well packed and quickly delivered. VG.
