    Fantastic sound - recommended

    I love these headphones - I was looking to replace my old Sennheisers which lasted about 8 years (of heavy use). These seem well made so hopefully they will last well too. The sound is brilliant - I listen to a wide range of music types - they have plenty of welly for rock and pop but they also have a lovely clear sound, and are wonderful with classical/acoustic music. They give a powerful bass, but not at the expense of clarity - it is never muddy sounding like other brands I have tried. Shame they are being superceeded, but hopefully the next model will be just as good. They come with three additional pairs of earbuds in different sizes.

    - They fall out of ear very easely. - Lots of cable noise. - Most extreme v-shape sound signature In-Ears i've listened to. - Rubber ear adapters are not "sticky-rubber" enough to make them stick to skin. - Very dominant bottom end lack of mids but when you hear mids, the vocals are nicely textured thanks to the pronounced highs. - Due to heavy emphasis being on the low end frequencies, i can only listen to them for about 30 minutes at a time. - Wide frequency response and good soundstage. - Difficult to wear when you are wearing something that covers your ears since the edge of the hat will pull them out of your ear. - Horrible build quality, they are plastic and have visible molding marks. -These were recommended as a step up from Sony MDREX650 but in reality in my opinion Sony in ...

    Sound great as long as you sit still

    I'm no audiophile but I think the sound from these earphones is great, clear, crisp and also gives a nice deep bass. However, they are severely let down by cable noise, I have never heard anything like it from any other earphones. I previously had some Soundmagic E30's and the over the ear cable made them virtually silent, so perhaps I was spoiled with those, but these are so noisy you have to sit completely still or you'll be driven insane by the loud rubbing noise from the cable drowning out whatever you're listening to.

    Well made, OK sound

    This is a good product, but I think they're generally overpriced (this was the lowest price available). They are a very well made product, typical of Sennheiser products, but the sound is only O.K. They are loud and bassy, but not as clear as I had hoped from Sennheiser. 3.5-4 out of 5 for me.

    Good headphones at a good price
