    8" Stanless Selkirk chimney cap

    This cap is a great improvement over the old version. To keep the older version on it had a sleeve that slid down into the 8" dia. inner pipe. This would allow a heave wind blown rain to wick around the lower 15" dia. flange and leak into the spaces between outer 10" dia. and the inter tubes of the 3 wall Selkirk chimney stove pipe. The new replacement cap has a flange that goes over the 10" dia. of the pipe, and the 15" dia. flange has a drip edge on it. Also below the flange that goes over the 10" dia. part of the pipe are three extended legs over witch a removable chinch clamp is used to further secure the Round Chimney cap to the Selkirk triple wall 8" dia. stove pipe, thereby keeping the heavy wind blown rain water, from running down between the three walls of the pipe and onto ...
