I thought it was a metal plate but it's not! pretty fast shipping, good price, good seller. I would ship in a small box to avoid getting bent or damaged myself.

    Great modulation setting

    Great reverb pedal! Some of the settings sound better then others but overall a great pedal. I Mainly bought the pedal for the Modulation effect which sounds absolutely beautiful! Great for getting that Haunting reverb type of tone as well as getting that David Gilmore reverb tone. The spring reverb on this pedal is not all that great. If Your looking for a subtle reverb then this pedal is not for you. It is pretty heavy on the reverb.

    Simple And Powerful af

    Yo I never thought how cool this pedal was! I ain't lying man it's a must buy for every genre guitarrist. You can make super cool riffs with this pedal, You can play from indie, jazz, Christian music, To Deathcore, post-hardcore, Pop Punk, even electronic Music! You can also use it for voice (I 've tried it and it works good with vocals, even though it's made for guitars) So don't doubt on buying it, I totally recommend this product.

    Exactly what I was looking for

    I've been wanting one of these for a while. I was looking for a good modulated reverb that wasn't overmodulated and/or cheesy. This one is perfect. I actually had a Cloud 9 Shy Reverb, a very expensive "boutique" reverb pedal, and it was fine but the modulation effect was too pronounced and it colored the sound too much for my tastes. This pedal is able to add gobs of dripping wet reverb without coloring the sound of the original signal, so it's perfect for what I do, which is praise and worship music in churches. That requires a good amount of ambient reverb.

    Spring and Hall sound great

    Boss RV-5 (the one I just bought used was made in 2009) has aged well. This has a Spring setting with the drip or splash sound at the start of some notes, which is popular in Surf Rock circles. I would recommend this model to Surf fans who want that effect. (Other settings, in particular Hall, sound very good too.) Not quite as clean sounding as a Fender Reverb tank, but those cost a lot more and are much bigger.

    Boss RV-5 rules!

    This reverb pedal sounds very good. It's my first reverb pedal. I liked the spring reverb most. It sounds very reasonable and has good quality. It sounds clear and doesn't get muddy like my mooer shimverb. I bought it used from Japan and it looks like new. It did not come with the box and manual though. But I like this reverb a lot and I will use it a lot for the years to come.
