    A children's film for adults.

    I avoided this film when it was first released, but now the sequel is here with Channing Tatum in it, someone in the house wanted to see the first one before they watch the second. Doesn't lack for a cast, and I thought it had some amusing moments, but overall it's a children's film for adults, or more worryingly, an adults film for children. Would you really go to the cinema to see this ? Only if you had plenty of time on your hands and needed to get out of the house with your friends because your mum was sick of you stinking the place up.

    Really enjoyable.

    Great acting, nice effects, not much of a story but as it's an action film it doesn't really need one. What i enjoyed mostly about this film is how not only is it a really good action film, the fight scenes were done amazingly, but also sometimes the film was funny in an inappropriate way (for example an upbeat disco tune is playing for the end of the world, i really enjoyed this). There is a little unpleasant gore but not enough to ruin the film. Really good, i enjoyed watching this.

    Ridiculous - but fun!

    As ludicrous as any of the genre but made me smile in places. The attempt to give a narrative on the street urchin made good was less than tissue thin as a hanger for set piece cgi violence. It perhaps should not have been as enjoyable as it was. But there you go.
