    Great film, poor promotion

    This is n underrated film. Everything in it respects the original source and offers a new vision on the Burroughs stories and characters. A pity Disney mis-treated it so badly during promotion and made it fail miserably. It deserved better.

    A good production and true to the book

    The movie is entertaining with a nice pace. Erb, the author of these John Carter books had an imagination that keep the reader coming for more. This movie is the first one in the series. Too bad that Hollywood did not feel the desire to continue with more from this set. John Carter, predates all of the movies of this type and is a welcome to all people that like Sci Fi movies
