    The adventures of Ichabod Crane and Mr toad

    I love these movies from Walt Disney is cartoons I saw them as a kid as a child under under teenage years is when I first saw him and I fell in love with them then and I'm so glad that I have a place like eBay that I can go to to look for these older movies that I grew up with and love dearly and want to have so that I can watch them anytime thank you again eBay

    two movies on one DVD

    I bought two of these DVDs to give to family members with little kids for Halloween. I still don't understand why the DVD has BOTH the "Mr. Toad" cartoon (based on "The Wind in the Willows") and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" cartoon. They have nothing whatsoever to do with each other; maybe they were put on a single DVD because it would be too expensive to market two half-hour DVDs. I think "Mr. Toad" would be over the heads of many children, since the plot turns on a property deed. The narrator and some of the characters (such as Angus McBadger) have thick accents, which at times made them difficult to understand. "Sleepy Hollow" followed Irving's story pretty closely; the "headless horseman" segment wasn't too scary. As usual, the Disney animation was excellent.

    I was pleased with 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' especially because I have relatives in New York and visited Sleepy Hollow in New York along with the home of Washington Irving many years ago, so the story holds good memories for me.
