    Great book; antiquated translation

    This is a really nice edition of Aesops fables. Buyers should be aware, however, that the translation uses an overly verbose upperclass, 19th century British vernacular that will be too tough for most kids. Plan to use it to build exposure to advanced diction in small bites.

    Old fashion story telling

    It is a book of small stories that has a message to tell about character and virtue. W don't see those stories today. Children need to read this book or have it read to them. The stories are simple and lovely.
