- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI'm only leaving a POSITIVE because the parts were of decent quality. The rest of this experience not so good at all. Working from a schematic I've done many times, but to have no information at all about each section is ridiculous. There used to be a terminal strip supplied this kit to handle all the point-to-point connections. Not anymore and I had to use individual strips as I went and now, I'm paying for it. The amp powers up just fine, but the hum is deafening and must be turned off quick

I have 40 years' experience in electronics, and was able to build it you will need a dropping resistor or a pair of heavy apposing diodes to reduce the heater voltage. Nice sounding amp no hissing and no humming.

I am not joking it reaked of machine oil i had to wash most of the metal housing and components to try to clean it tobstop it from smelling. The item was packaged poorly so the wood and metal housing got scratches so I had to by a vinyl wrap to hide them. No safety device, so I had to order a fuse. Finally the metal housing fit and finish was garbage, this is you classic cutting corners on manufacturing. I will not order from this company ever again.
