      worth every penny besides it will eventually pay for itself in elecric bill savings

      You can't find these anymore I went to all the big hardware chain stores and also some big department stores with no luck .A few years ago I bought basically the same thing for close to double the price of this one at home depot which they no longer sell . So my review its of good quality price is great! Try to find another to compare it to!! or save yourself some time and gas and get one now.

      Great dimmer, Easy installation and operation

      This is a great dimmer to use in a normal lamp. I am using this in my bedroom to allow my lamp to be used as a nightlight whether left on or turned on at the lamp switch or at the wall switch. The dimmer screws in where the bulb goes, and the bulb screws directly into the dimmer. The bulb wattage does not seem to affect the dimming amount high or low. The dimmer is adjusted by turning the switch on the side of the dimmer. The knob is approximately 7/8" diameter with a tab across the middle approximately 1/4" deep. The dimmer switch will turn the light off or start adjustment at a low brightness turning it clockwise ending at the maximum brightness of the bulb. The installation is easy as well as the operation. It works great!

      Manual Dimmer screw in sockets

      This is a great product if you just want to dim individual lamps if the lighting is to bright. I used them in the backyard street lamp I just installed.. I wanted these lamps to be the same brightness as my patio lights. It took 25w clear bulbs and adjusted them to the string lights of about 5watts level so all look the same at night. great product.

      Works great!

      Pretty much, if ya want a dimmer on a lamp, this works great! I was looking for an inline dimmer, but then came across these instead. They work great, I use Dimmable LED lamps and it works well too! They also work with modified sine-wave inverters. Been using it with a solar panel system.
