Value for money
Let me start of with saying 'you get what you pay for', so don't expect this product to match the quality you get with the products that are significantly more expensive. In general the roof light looks the part and performs accordingly. It is relatively light weight and the flashing does its job correctly. My only negative comment would be that the mounting of the window feels a bit flimsy when opened as you can move it from side to side for a cm or so. This product is ok. For the price, it's probably pretty decent. I have a slight issue with the manufacturer literature because one of the images shows it fitted 'landscape', but it can't actually be fitted landscape, which is what I bought it to do. I accept it's not explicitly stated that it can, but is implied via the imagery, so take note if you were thinking similar. On manipulating the window into place one of the fixing straps sheered off, so beware not to over-work these. This product is ok. For the price, it's probably pretty decent. Its a really decent window. Good quality for the price and the integrated flashing works well. Simple to fit and looks good. I fitted it on a felt shingle roof. Was simple. Been raining for 2 days now and not a single leak.
