The seller was great and very polite and helpful, they sent me another pair because the first one didn't show up on time. As for the item though, I'm not sure it's for practicality, maybe more for fashion, I was wanting to use them with Russian kirza boots, to try and make them tighter, but I couldn't get them tight enough to make a diffrence unfortunately, could just be they don't work well with this particular boot though.
