I did have some trouble with 2" exhaust pipe, but I believe it was due to the shty material of exhaust. I moved from 2" to 2.5 stainless and it expanded flawlessly, make sure you turn it in the bore in 1/8 increments to keep the round shape otherwise you'll make a "square". If you've ever tried this with a mechanical expander and impact, you'll appreciate this hydraulic version, night and day...
