      Good, but better modified

      The actual bracket that interfaces with the GPS is great, fits fine, good quality. But frankly,attaching it with Zip ties is pretty micky mouse, IMO. I used the bracket by attaching it to an aluminum clamp that clamps to the bars. I little time in the shop and you can figure out how to make a much better attachment mechanism.

      I purchased one of these last year for my bike and it works great so I decided to order another for my kayak. The original one is great but the one I just received doesn't look like the picture and is junk. The ball and socket are not made to fit each other meaning when I put my device in it it won't stay adjusted, it just falls down. Unfortunately it's not worth the shipping to send it back I just won't purchase any of these products again!

      Easy to use

      My Garmin 450t fits perfectly on this carrier and it easy to use when I am riding my bike. In the past I have had the GPS in a pocket or bag unavailable to me. I would buy it again.

      Mount won't stay on set (ballhead) position

      Since there's no provision to lock/tighten the mount to the ballhead, the mount does not stay in set position. Vibrations from handlebar will cause mount to move. I have used an Oregon 750t on this mount that weighs 7.4 oz. (209.8 g) with batteries - using a lighter GPS on this mount may manifest a different/better result.

      Very tight can't get the device to assemble..

      Just can't get my Garmin etrex 20x in to the clamp, it seems to be super tight. It goes in 60% and the rest just does not go in.
