Iron re-useable again!
Had terrible scorch marks on my Ceramic plate Iron and had tried a few times to remove it but to no avail. The stick worked well. Needed gentle persuasion with a non scratch brillo type pad to get rid of the final tough bits. Use in a well ventilated area as fumes can be very strong. This product saved me buying a new Iron so would recommend to everyone!

Quite effective
I tried this product out yesterday, to clean melted on residue from under the iron. It is smaller than similar products used in the past. The instructions are clear (they are different from similar products I have used). The white product broke off its base before I managed to use it, so had to hold it in my hand. I managed to get most of the residue off and could probably have got it all of if I'd kept on using it. Is it has made the iron useable again, it used to get stuck and leave a black deposit on the clothes before. The instructions warn you not to inhale the fumes which I found difficult not to do, it has a strong, lingering smell. Also it says to run the iron on a cloth once to get the residue off, but I used a sheet of kitchen paper so I could throw it away after. Overall ... Suggested to me by friend. Worked its magic. Do put a old cloth under the iron when apply the stick. warm up the oven, not to hot and rub the stick over it. It is like wax if not wax Will take the black marks off iron instantly but the wax will pour down and stick on anything under it as i found out!!!. So old cloth or few sheets of kitchen towel under it The stick melted very quickly so really only 1 to 3 uses depending how big or many black areas you need to get off your iron. Would recommend by my experience and will buy again if need to clean iron plate againSuggested to me by friend. Worked its magic.
