The Krups XN300540 is an espresso machine that can make a hot cup of coffee in as little as 25 seconds. Also known as the Pixie coffee machine, it is electric and has 19-bar pressure. This allows for the ideal combination of temperature and pressure to quickly make a cup of great-tasting coffee. The Krups espresso machine is known for its low energy consumption and will automatically shut off after nine minutes of not being used. The Pixie coffee machine requires little descaling, and users will have an easier time cleaning the machine with its removable water tank. The front of the Krups XN300540 has several LED lights to alert the user when the espresso is done or when the water tank is low. The Krups espresso machine holds one litre of water and uses Nespresso coffee capsules so that users don't have to carefully measure the correct proportions of coffee and water. The Krups XN300540 measures 36 x 191 x 30 centimetres, which allows it to take up less space on a kitchen counter.

The Krups Pixie Nespresso coffee machine is a quality piece of kit, being made in Switzerland, and pharania's price was very competitive. Furthermore, it was supplied with a UK plug rather than a continental two pin, as some are, apparently. Delivery by Post Office Parcels was extremely rapid (next day!) and I have no hesitation recommending this supplier.

Great Machine
After using a larger one at work I was bit dubious of the smaller one, but was really pleased it warms up to boil point in 26 seconds and the drip tray folds up so you can use larger cups,also it has a nice backlight effect down both sides inside the capsule holder which is white and when nearly empty goes red which is really useful as it has a small water tank enough for 2 large cups or 3 small ones. I Love Coffee Again!!!!!!
Great little machine & much much better than the bigger podded coffee machines in the Nespresso range. Makes far better coffee, hot (which I like), quick, great coffee each time & lokks good too. My only gripe is that it can be a little noisy, but that only lasts a very short time. I'd recommend this machine everytime but it's getting harder to get one because Nespresso are only making them availlable for monthly coffee suscription. Which I don't think is fair. The Nespresso is definitely the one to have for an instant expression and this model has the advantage of being able to use alternative branded pods which can be a little saving every now and then. Simple coffee brewer
