While this is not the absolute softest leather I have ever felt in handbags and totes, it is very good, very decent quality. The style is perfect, not too big but carries a bit more than just essentials. The shape is a little bit slouchy if you do not fill it to the top, but the sides keep it from being too slouchy and falling over. The chains add a touch of femininity, can't go wrong if you get it at a good price! I am 5'2" and curvy, and this didn't feel too overwhelming like some hobo bags do. I am using the shorter handle both over my arm and shoulder, not an issue! :) Go for it, it is an elegant look.
