A genius piece of kit. It has brought life back to my sick remote control. 5 - 10 minutes fitting time, not including any drying, then I was up and running. To be honest, my remote is over 20 years old. I bought a used replacement on line but it was a piece of junk. It does what it says on the tin.
This is an amazing piece of kit. My remote was still in good physical shape but over 20 years old. Several of the buttons were becoming less and less responsive and I was having to resort to heavier-handed means to make them work. This in turn was probably making things even worse. Trying to buy a second-hand remote on line proved to be very difficult as sellers often wish to sell you anything in order to make a buck. The one I bought used the photograph of a different remote and it arrived in an awful state. I spotted this repair kit while searching for a replacement. At the price, it was well worth a punt and I must admit that I was sceptical. It arrived in super fast time from the States. Instructions are clear and pretty simple but they do need to be followed. A clever idea that solves an age-old problem easily.
Rather than buy a new remote control for my Bose stereo system I repaired it using this kit. It's easy to use and works as designed. The only problem I encountered was in separating the halves of the remote control without breaking the fragile clips that hold it together. Easily solved with a few dots of contact cement. all of the buttons now respond to a light touch. Very satisfied with my purchase.Rather than buy a new remote control for my Bose stereo system I repaired it using this kit. It's easy to use and works as designed. WOW. If I had to give this a rating out of 10 it would be a 12. I have owned my Bose system for 18 years still sounds fantastic the only fault with it was over time the remote was hard to operate. When I saw the button repair kit and how cheap it was I thought I would give it a try. Well the repair kit come in the mail earlier than expected, installed it into my remote and like magic it was like a new remote.WOW. If I had to give this a rating out of 10 it would be a 12.
