    Good pegs, well worth investing in

    Much better than the plastic ones where you have soft, brittle soil. Although the peg is prone to bend a little if you hit a stone in the ground, you can still manage to get the peg in with only a little wiggling. You can also take them out if you can’t get past the stone, reshape a bit if it has gone a bit wonky and reuse. I used for weed control fabric and I am really pleased with the way the pegs have secured the cover to the ground. I will be buying more for further work in my garden.

    Not long enough

    I was disappointed by the performance of these staples. They did not hold the fabric securely because they had, in my opinion, too short a peg, that could easily be pulled out of the ground. I still prefer single tent pegs, because they can be driven in at an angle to tension the fabric.

    Great proper tent pegs

    So for starters can I say I’ve never been driven to write a review on here before and of all things to write one about it’s going to be these tent pegs. I spent hours searching for replacement pegs on amazon, Ebay and other sites and each time I’ve found pegs that state they’re strong, but when you dog right down into the reviews and get passed the fake and paid for ones, all of sudden you find out they are in fact cheap and nasty and not fit for purpose. Not so these. I gambled and bought a pack of 50 and I’m delighted I did as they’re strong well made and you can give them a good hammering without them bending. Anyone who knows me, knows I tend to have a Basil Fawlty moment when the blooming pegs keep bending. I’m going to be ordering a couple of packets of these to hopefully ride me ...

    Problem solver in hard ground

    As a re-enactor, I used these to erect a large canvas tent in a courtyard of paviers in a castle. Traditional wooden tent pegs could not be used. These did the job with heavy hammering. Will be an essential element in future events with no grass.
