Had 2 cheaper basic solar charge controllers, both failed, decided to buy Victron Smart Bluetooth controller,a choice I should have made first, highly recommend,for build quality and guarantee.

It does the job of feeding the batteries and with bluetooth no battery monitor is required it tells youn the state of charge how many watts have been put in and shows that for the previous month Also if you think of changing to li po batteries the charge settings can be re set to allow it All in all the best.
