Disappointing
I have had this mixer tap for 3 and a half years and I'm on my fourth replacement set of valves. After around one year the valves start to fail. The hot valve has play which makes it difficult to regulate flow between on and off. The cold valve eventually starts to vibrate loudly when turned on. Unfortunately Bristan no longer produce the old style tap valves where a rubber washer could easily be replaced occassionally. These valves are badly designed and for only 12 months average service, I would say they are unfit for purpose. Be prepared to be paying for new valves once a year when out of warranty.I have had this mixer tap for 3 and a half years and I'm on my fourth replacement set of valves. In a time when we can’t shop and look at items we have to buy online, with just a picture. I’m happy with this as it’s always been simple to return. I purchased this and it isn’t suitable. It’s to small for my sink. So I asked if I could return it at a cost to myself. The answer was no! Try selling it again on eBay. One very disappointed customer. Luckily,
