Alto toilet seat
I had to change my toilet seat because I was unable to obtain buffers to fit the original seat. I fitted the seat within a few minutes, you have to make sure you fit the brackets the right way round also there is movement prior to tightening the seat for it to fit correctly on the pan, I don't think the quality is as good as the original but for the money paid for the seat it was worth.

just not quite the same.
seat made of hard plastic and,same style as original Ideal Standard "Alto"seat and the hinges are the same.The only downside is the cover that sits around the toilet bowl has four rubber protection studs which only just touch the toilet bowl by afew millimetres

Replacement toilet seat
The first time someone sat on this toilet seat it cracked just above the hinge. It was only as I was throwing away the box that I saw the note that had been stuck in the box advising that adjustment was necessary if there was any movement on the toilet sitting on the china. As I opened the box from the other side I didn’t see this note. It would be better to put this note in with the fittings. As a result I have had to buy another toilet seat.
