About this product

Product Information

This bird box will comfortably accommodate a broad range of smaller avian species such as a budgie, a rainbow lorikeet or a mynah bird. It is not suitable for larger birds. It is constructed from untreated wood and has a hinged lid that birds are able to open with their head. The box includes a standing perch at the front. Dimensions of this unit are 21 x 12 x 13 cm, and is suitable for indoor use only.

    budgie nest boxes

    I have bought 10 of these as I want to change all my old nest boxes as these open at the top so no eggs roll out when you open them my ones open at the side these are great quality I would recommend them to everyone

    Small!

    I should have checked the dimensions! It is small, and the concave nest is probably big enough for 3 eggs. Fortunately, my budgies are fairly petite, so they can get in and out. The design is quite good, with the top opening, but the birds have already removed quite a bit of the top layer of lamination. I have said that it is good value, because it was cheep (cheap - pun intended), but you get what you pay for!

    Robust product

    Extremely well made. I bought it for my budgies and it was a lot larger than anticipated - a positive. It was nicely designed both being aesthetically pleasing and functional. It had a concave inside with a long perch. The roof slides up and is held in place with screws. Would certainly recommend.

    budgies nest

    This nest is smaller then the ones I've privously used, but does the job all the same. Because of the small size I was able to put it inside the cages. I wouldn't recommend these nest for exibition size budgies though.
