    An excellent resource

    This book can provide a strong foundation for the beginner, and serve as an excellent supplement to the experienced welder. I have been doing production MIG welding for about four years; a couple hours with this book has already provided me with fresh information and considerations for future projects. The writing is down to earth, like listening to a seasoned welder teach his craft.

    Really great book for beginning welder

    I bought this book for a welding class I take at my college and so far, even though buying the book was optional for this class, it was worth every penny. There are so many things to learn about welding, and this book gives a good overview on just about everything one needs to know. It covers oxyacetylene, MIG, TIG, arcwelding, soldering, and much more. Sorry to sound like an advertisement but it really is a good book.

    Loaded with content, low on fluff.

    This is a great book for any welder's library. It is simply loaded with real usable content. I compared it to one of the current textbooks for welding, and while the textbook is for times longer, this book has at least twice the information in it.
