Not very well known but actually is an amazing phone, very light but does not feel cheap like some more expensive counterparts.AMOLED screen is very bright and it is a real pleasure to watch movies, view pictures or playing games.it runs ICS which is not the latest software but I cannot see any problems with that, it is just does not have GoogleNow as in jellyBin that's all.the phone has DOLBY sound which makes music experience very pleasant.Of course you can download EQ app from PlayStore or any other sound enhancement app(there are hundreds of them). It has 1.5 GHz processor which makes this phone really fast and the camera is not too bad at all-8mp.However I would not buy it because of the camera-it takes quite average pictures, this is one of very few disadvantages of the phone I can think of.As in the HTC One X the back cover cannot be open, but P1 has an advantage of micro sd card slot at the left side of the phone(One X does not) so the memory could be expanded up to 32 GB. The sim card is inserted from the top of the phone, which I personally do not really like as the sim card cover feels a bit flimsy and I think it might not last long. The home screen can be chosen between Android,Breeze and Down(the last two-Huwaei own skins) and you can have the home screen in 3D as well with some animations but this might affect a battery a little bit( not much though). The phone is very comfortable to hold and it is one of the slimmest smartphones(apart from Motorola) on the market.Overall this is a great device and I would definitely recommend it to everyone, especially because it is not as pricey as the latest galaxy or iPhone and has pretty similar feautures and functions.Read full review
