The hose offers a 1-7/8-inch diameter area of airflow, which is big enough to prevent clogging but small enough to maximize performance. Filters help to prevent the motor from clogging in dusty conditions. Beyond this, the RIDGID WD4070 comes equipped with a 20-foot power cord, which offers a huge area for cleaning potential. When not in use, this suction vac allows the power cord to wrap neatly around the carry handle for proper organization. This suction tool also has the potential to double as a blower. To do so, simply unplug the hose from the suction port and insert it into the exhaust port. The vac offers a complete 110-CFM air volume, 9-amp use, and a patented scroll noise reduction.
