    cheap to buy does what it should and works really well

    Very good at what it does and I use it on exhaust pipes it is a bit of a fiddle at first to get started as the end tends to separate but once you get going it is ok, the stainless steel ties are not so good as you can't get them tight and you have to bend back the ends to stop them coming undone so uses earthing wire and wrapped it on this works well and any changes later can be done with ease.

    Looks great, tricky to fit round bends.

    This heat wrap is great for tidying up your downpipes/headers, looks good once fitted neatly however its not the easiest to fit when going round bends because there is hardly any flex or elasticity so it can tend to leave slack sections even when pulled tightly, I read a guide that suggested it should be soaked first with water so i tried this with one of my pipes (and the other without) but it made no difference except it was incredibly messy with the wet one. It comes with plenty of clips to hold the ends in place but jubilee clips work better. There was enough to cover 2 single downpipes, probably about 5 or 6 feet once wrapped.

    Just the job

    Firstly, gloves and overalls or old cloths must be worn or you illl be itching for the rest of the day like I am because I wore a T-shirt! Easy to work it’s, come with decent metal pull ties and I had plenty left over having only used it on the down pipes. Haven’t used any other ones so can’t compare but for the price I would say very good and I would recommend.
