Finally, if an error occurs, the light uses a flash to indicate a problem. The WPA2 encryption and SPI firewall improves the security of earlier routers keeps your network secure from outside intrusion. The four Gigabit Ethernet ports, using both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, allow for fast file sharing between other Gigabit-enabled devices. For ease of use, the Ethernet ports use blue color-coding, and the Internet ports use yellow. The Linksys router also comes with a USB storage port, allowing you to connect a USB drive to share files at home.
